Train days for May, as reported earlier this month by the Chicago Tribune, have come and gone, but let's put them on the calendar to visit again next year:

• Railroad Heritage Day in Homewood
• Train Day at the DuPage County Historical Museum . Check their website for upcoming train days throughout the year. June 15 and 29 are coming up next.

My train lover enjoyed Union Station's Train Day again this year and is already talking about going next year.
